Supplies

Since many of the supplies (card stock, tape, cups, straws) are easily available, has anyone just purchased the motors and the batteries elsewhere? The pre-made kits from Pitsco are great and not that expensive - unless you have little/no funding.

We have Ozobots and Spheros, it seems that these might be able to be incororated in the rover mission. Has anyone tried this?

@Doreen Campbell The Pitsco Kits are a convenient option with all-in-one materials, but they’re not required to run Mission to the Moon. We want educators to have options- whether that means using the kits, pulling from materials already in your classroom, or getting creative with substitutions. Our goal is to make the program flexible so you can choose what works best for you and your students.
